From January to June, Yiwu market procurement and export reached 125.55 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 43.5%, accounting for 79.4% of Yiwu’s total foreign trade export value, driving Yiwu’s export growth by 29.1 percentage points. Among them, the market procurement and export in June was 30.81 billion yuan, an increase of 87.4%, the highest in history, and the contribution rate to Yiwu’s export in that month was as high as 314.9%. In the same period, the import and export of general trade reached 38.57 billion yuan. “The “Yixin Europe” China EU train overgrew. The total value of import and export goods of “Yixin Europe” China EU train supervised by Yiwu Customs was 16.37 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 178.5%.
Major trade markets grew significantly.
From January to June, Yiwu’s import and export to Africa reached 34.87 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 24.8%. The total value of imports and exports to ASEAN was 21.23 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 23.0%. The total value of imports and exports to the EU was 17.36 billion yuan, increasing 29.4%. Imports and exports to the United States, India, Chile, and Mexico were 16.44 billion yuan, 5.87 billion yuan, 5.34 billion yuan, and 5.15 billion yuan, respectively, increasing 3.8%, 13.1%, 111.2%, and 136.2%. Over the same period, one belt, one road, and Yiwu along the total number of imports and exports totaled 71 billion 80 million yuan, increasing 20.5%.
The export of labor-intensive products and high-tech products increased rapidly.
From January to June, the export of labor-intensive products in Yiwu reached 62.15 billion yuan, increasing 27.5%, accounting for 39.3%. Among them, the exports of plastic products, clothing and clothing accessories were 16.73 billion yuan and 16.16 billion yuan respectively, an increase of 32.6% and 39.2%. The export of mechanical and electrical products was 60.05 billion yuan, an increase of 20.4%, accounting for 38.0% of the total export value of Yiwu City. Among them, the export of diodes and similar semiconductor devices was 3.51 billion yuan, increasing 398.4%. The export of solar cells was 3.49 billion yuan, an increase of 399.1%. Over the same period, the export of high-tech products reached 6.36 billion yuan, increasing 146.6%. In addition, the export of sporting goods and equipment was 3.62 billion yuan, an increase of 53.0%.
The import of consumer goods dominated, and the import of mechanical and electrical products and high-tech products increased rapidly.
From January to June, Yiwu imported 7.48 billion yuan of consumer goods, an increase of 57.4%, accounting for 81.2% of the city’s imports. Over the same period, the import of mechanical and electrical products was 820 million yuan, increasing 386.5%, driving the import growth of 12.1 percentage points.
